WAKE COUNTY: Police believe Phillip Thomas "Scoob" Williams is the trigger man for the Cary ATM shooting at Bank of America off Maynard Road. It is believed that Williams walked up and shot a 51-year-old woman as she was making a deposit at the Bank of America.

WAKE COUNTY:  Phillip Thomas "Scoob" Williams is wanted for charges related to the ATM shooting at Bank of America off Maynard Road in Cary. 

It happened June 17, 2007 in broad daylight around 12:30p.m.   Police say they believe Williams was the trigger man in the incident. 

They believe Williams walked up and shot a 51-year-old woman in the abdomen as she was making a deposit at the ATM machine.  Williams then allegedly took the money, around $700, and ran across the street to Cary Towne Center where two accomplices were waiting.  It's reported that three raced away in a burgundy buick with a New York license tag.

Since the shooting, the two accomplices have been captured. 

But Williams remains on the loose.  His last known address is listed at an apartment complex on Rehobeth Church Road in Greensboro, NC.
