
MECKLENBURG COUNTY — MECKLENBURG COUNTY: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police notified NC WANTED that Target Twenty fugitive Jerel Lamar Davis was apprehended and arrested on September 2, 2008 around 1:30 p.m. as a result of a CrimeStoppers tip.
Charlotte detectives say the anonymous tipster saw Davis going in and out of a Charlotte residence and reported the sighting to authorities. Davis was arrested without incident.
Jerel Lamar Davis had been profiled on NC WANTED and ncwanted.com.

On May 26, 2006 at approximately 7 p.m., the clerk of Cash Pawn America off Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte was outside smoking a cigarette getting ready to close the store.
As he was walking back inside, Jerel Lamar Davis and a black male accomplice allegedly held the store clerk at gunpoint and forced him inside the store. While the accomplice kept the clerk at gunpoint, Davis traveled back and forth to his car taking various items with him.
They left the store with a large amount of jewelry and cash.
