When you think of missing person cases, your first thought is likely a child, or an elderly adult who lost his/her way. You hope they’re found, and that nothing sinister has happened to them.
But the reality is that foul play is often a part of the equation. You won’t know, however, until that person is found, or the case is solved. That period of not knowing can be just as devastating as the reality that a loved one has been victimized.
NC WANTED will profile cases of missing adults who disappeared without explanation. Our show is set up to field calls from the public when this happens, taking in any information that may lead to their successful return.
Again, it’s a situation where you the public must pass along information to help authorities bring these people back home or bring their families closure.
