JOHNSTON COUNTY: Police say Roger Dale Benton was staying with his sister in Clayton when he molested her 3-year-old daughter the night of February 5, 2008. The girl’s parents reported the incident the next day. Clayton Police went to interview Benton that day, but when they went back to the residence to serve Benton a warrant for first-degree sexual offense against a child, he was gone.
