DURHAM, N.C. — Police are still investigating a death of a Durham mother.
According to police, they received a call around 11 p.m. Tuesday. When police arrived, they found the body of Janet Abaroa, 25, in one of the bedrooms at a house on Ferrand Road.
Neighbors say Abaroa and her husband, Raven, had recently moved into the neighborhood and they knew little about them. They described the couple, which recently had a baby, as quiet.
Investigators have not released the cause of death, but the death is being investigated as a homicide. No charges have been filed.
