DURHAM COUNTY: Durham police say an off-duty officer was involved in a shooting Wednesday night. It happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Carriage House Apartments at 200 Seven Oaks Road.
Police say a man pointed a gun at the officer and the officer shot him. Officials have not released the names of the officer or the man.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, but there was no word on his condition.
