DURHAM COUNTY — VIEW DOCUMENTS (LINKS NEXT TO THIS ARTICLE): Investigators have released copies of the search warrants delivered to Laurence Alvin Lovette Jr. and 1914 Cook Road in Durham, where Lovette surrendered to police March 13.
Lovette has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Abhijit Mahato, a Duke graduate student who was shot to death in his apartment in January. Lovette has also been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of UNC's student body president Eve Carson.
