ALL COUNTIES — ALL COUNTIES: North Carolina authorities are searching for three missing men who disappeared in the last few weeks.
William Simon, 61, was last seen in Fayetteville March 19. Investigators are now considering his disappearance a homicide after his car was found abandoned with his Bible on the front seat the day after he was reported missing.
Simon is an African-American man, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 200 pounds. He is going bald, but has some gray hair. He wears glasses.
Meanwhile, Raleigh police are trying to locate Gregory Lyman, 30, of Grove Avenue, who was last seen March 9. Lyman is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 220 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Police are not sure if foul play is involved, but said that Lyman has no history of leaving without notice.
A Silver Alert was issued March 16 in Rocky Mount for William Wright, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Wright, 59, is an African-American male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 120 pounds.
