Search warrants obtained by NC WANTED reveal that the skeletal remains found off Carolina Beach Road in April have been preliminarily identified as those of Allison Jackson Foy and Angela Rothen.

The warrants were used to search the house, car and storage unit owned by Timothy Craig Iannone, 47, who has not been named a suspect in the case.

Since two skeletons were found in a wooded area off Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington, there has been a great deal of speculation that one of the skeletons belonged to Allison Jackson Foy, who has been missing since July 2006. NC WANTED profiled her disappearance in March.

Angela Rothen went missing in June 2007.

According to the search warrant, Iannone was a cab driver who frequented the area where the remains were located and has a criminal history. In August 2007, he was arrested for the kidnapping, rape and assault of a prostitute in the area near where the remains were found. He is currently on probation.

The warrants also state that police made the preliminary identification based on evidence found at the scene. The identities of the remains will not be confirmed until the medical examiner's office completes its DNA analysis.
