
PERSON COUNTY — The North Carolina Department of Community Corrections informed NC WANTED Wednesday that Glen D. Heath has been arrested in Baltimore, Maryland.
Heath was featured on the NC WANTED web site as part of our cooperation with the corrections authorities to bring probation and parole absconders to justice before they commit other crimes.
Heath, 35, absconded from probation in December 2001, a little more than a year after he was convicted of indecent liberties with a child in Person County. He had been on the run ever since, but was recently arrested in Baltimore.
He is currently awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
