A man entered the bank and demanded money just after 11:30 a.m., police spokesman Jim Sughrue said. Responding officers searched the area around the bank and detained the suspect at 12 Enterprise St. <br />

They charged Charles S. Lewis, 48, with robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was taken to the Wake County jail.
