Childish Gambino announces Raleigh tour stop

Rapper Childish Gambino will bring his upcoming "The New World Tour" to Raleigh's PNC Arena on Aug. 30, the venue announced Monday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Rapper Childish Gambino will bring his upcoming "The New World Tour" to Raleigh's PNC Arena on Aug. 30, the venue announced Monday.

The tour comes after Gambino's surprise album drop of Atavista (3.15.20 reimagined versions).

Actor and director Donald Glover, who also starred on the NBC series "Community," has released four studio albums under the name Childish Gambino.

The U.S. leg of "The New World Tour' will kick off on Aug. 11 and visit 33 venues across North America.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. local time at Ticketmaster.com.

Fans can sign up for early access to tickets via a special artist presale at TheNewWorldTour.com.

American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public.
