SMITHFIELD, N.C. — Three Smithfield teens face charges of throwing rocks onto cars on Highway 70.
Police said the rocks hit four cars on an underpass. Officers caught up with the teens a couple blocks from the overpass.
They each face four counts of damaging property and one count of resisting arrest because they allegedly tried to run from officers.
No one was seriously injured.
